The biggest question on my mind lately: How can AI and blockchain redefine our work-life balance?
Growing up I saw the best way for time freedom was entrepreneurship. My father built and ran a successful business but always found time to attend my afterschool soccer games. He made time because it was in his control. What I didn't realize then, is that this idea of owning your time and financial upside would be possible for more people just a few decades later.
I've built a few companies now in my career and I've benefitted from more time flexibility and financial upside. I also saw the opposite, that I spent all of my time on some ventures and took big financial hits. Entrepreneurship can have a lot of ownership upside, but its shadow side is a thief of time and money.
Today, as a mother of two, I am especially aware of the balance of owning my time and upside weighs in. I want to have the time and flexiblity, paired with the work passion. Its been the dream all along, but new changes in technology are making it even more accessible than before.
My fascination with technology began early in my career and I've sat on the front edge of tech my whole career, from early Facebook to iPhones, Cloud computing to Blockchains. And now, at the forefont of AI. All of these updates are better and better tools to mastering our most precious resource: time.
Right now I'm focused on AI and blockchain's potential to revolutionize how we manage work and life, aiming for a future where we own our time, not the other way around. I've already seen that Blockchains give us more control of our finances, and the time we can buy back. AI gives us more control of our time with work leverage and automating routine tasks.
Ultimately though, my goal is not the technology itself. It's the lives we can create when we have more time and financial ownership. It may mean getting to every kid's soccer game. Or traveling to experience the world. Or in my case, spending time with my two young children while also working in cutting edge tech.
What a wonderful future if we can think about what to do with all of the freedom of time without financial worry. What things will we engage with and enjoy? The future is now.
So whether you're a tech geek like me, or someone trying to find that balance of financial freedom, and time ownership. I hope you'll join in the conversation to see how we can build better personal and professional lives in this new ownership economy.
What positive change could more ownership have on your life?

Can't agree more. The only issue is Blockchain runs 24/7
